Princess Unicorn

So, if you're reading this, you should be aware of the fact that I'm a total nerd, I love to dress up, and I'm uber-ambitious. Then you will also understand just HOW TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY AND RIDICULOUSLY EXCITED I AM for this opportunity to pop up! One of the most professional, talented, experienced, well-known, and imaginative cosplayer/seamstress/dreamer there is wants to start up a "Princess Unicorn Model Search"! She wants to find a model that she feels fits the part and will then craft a costume in accordance to that person's measurements and attributes and whatnot as Princess Unicorn! Her references and inspirations are already stupendous so you KNOW the final result will be OUT OF THIS WORLD! She is open to any body type, ethnicity, height, ect! So I'm not counted out just yet.

I do not honestly think I'm going to fit the bill, but to have the chance to submit myself as an available model for her may prove to be rewarding! So I don't fit Princess Unicorn. Maybe I'll fit her next project? Or inspire another! Yes, I'm incredibly stoked! Here's a portion of her post:


"Im searching for the perfect Princess Unicorn Model! This is a costume I have been wanting to make since I was child! I envision a lacy tutor ruff, long flowing cape, pastel and warm colored dress, with a single golden horn rising from her forehead.

"You must be able fund your own travel to Los Angeles, California for a one day photoshoot with Photographer Indigo. I will be making the costume to your size and will be doing your hair/wig and make-up for the day! Photoshoot date will be decided on later.

I have measurements already, but I'm gonna check them. I'm gonna immediately begin scouring my photos for the 2,3, and 4 requirements. I'm gonna be contacting some of my friends too, and hope that they can give me some suggestions from things I've done with them or see if I should just take new photos. I've already begun working on an intro to tell her about myself so I can fix it up and cut it down and whatnot, since those reading this should also know I tend to ramble. Luckily, I live near LA already, so this dream is not as impossible as it sounds. Photographer Indigo is also pretty damn amazing--lots of recognition and I like his style. Not that I don't love my photographer friends, but it's always interesting working with different photographers as well.
