So this weekend was awesome. Saturday, despite being bummed because there were so many things going on and I couldn't go to them all, I had a GREAT time at my cousin Karen's and her husband's new house. They have a salt water pool. I'm totally getting a pool like theirs. Mini waterfall, super easy care, comfy temp, loved the overall design... yep yep. Talking and visiting with family was really nice too, and of course, the food.
Sunday went pretty well at church. I have to admit, I worry about it all the time now. But I'm trying to relax. Stake Conference is this coming sunday so I get a tiny break. And as much as I know I really shouldn't do stuff on sunday, Emily and I went to Shakespeare in the park at Griffith Park in LA to see Much Ado About Nothing. It was worth it! Unbelievably fun. Besides, it's only like the fifth time lidia and the gang have tried to hang out and still lizette and shelby couldn't make it for this one. :( Oh well. We still had fun. And Benedick. <3 Gosh, the actor that played him is always un-freakin-believable. Hahahaha!
Monday Emily and I went to the beach with some of the Riverside gang! Jad picked us up, for which I'm always grateful, and when we finally got there (after I read the directions wrong and we didn't see a street we were supposed to turn on, but we had epic car conversations) we met up with Bree, Liz, Alisha, and Craig! Woo! Alisha, Craig, Jad and I all went in the water later. I am not a fan of cold ocean water. It's beautiful and the weather was great, but I just am not a fan. Still had fun, of course. All except Bug tried tossing the boomerang, and we all failed epically. Liz and Bree and Jad took turns flying the Smurf kite. After Alisha and Craig left the five of us tossed the two frisbees around for a while. We also played Uno. Took some sunset pics. Soon Lyn and Allen got there, followed closely by Jad's sister Jana and her bf Leo. (Both are super awesome people too! I wish I could've talked more with them). Then we started up the bonfire and cooked some hot dogs and smores. Lyn and Allen took off after about 2 hours, but poor Lyn has been dealing with a sore mouth too. D: Anyhow, we didn't have terribly long to hang out after that before we had to pack up and get off the beach (patrol is scary strict). We went to an IHOP we found afterwards, but everyone was tired and personally, I had a KILLER headache so we called it quits after not too long. I still feel bad for being such a spoil sport, but seriously, I felt like dying at one point. The ride home was surprisingly fast, but we still had some memorable conversation. ^^
GOSH I MISS EVERYONE ALREADY! My familia (both related and extended), my awesome friends, and man I miss summer too. I can't believe people are starting school already! And here I am, trying to find another job so I can earn money to get a car. Arg. But I love you all!

hehe! :D Glad you had a fun weekend bestie!! :D The bonfire was lots of fun!!! You know I'll pick you up anytime for anything. :D And never feel guilty or think I won't. You are my bestie and one of the very few friends I have. So, you know I'll go to the stars and back for you. :D It's ok bestie....we all were tired and not feeling too well. So, no big deal. I'm just glad that your headache went away. I don't like it when you aren't feeling well. I miss the hell out of you bestie!!! It was great to see you and the next time we get together won't be soon enough!! Keep your spirits up and your perspective on the right track!! I love you lots!! HUGS!!!
